hello🙂 me again.
fantastic update with 1.2 b1 - all seems to work just fine here.
I have a couple of feature requests, if I may:

a "duplicate unit" feature
a tab/list/screen with all assigned midi controlls overview
( this would come damn handy)
timestretch for "grains"
MERGE/ADD to a sound map (if possible...)
a jitter/swing/shuffle function on the main bpm/clock
a unit that will play a trajectory by a midi key trigger in various ways:
HOLD (it will play it looped )
GATE (it will play through trajectory as long as the key is pressed)
RAND (it will play randomly inside the trajectory)
etc
tutorial(s)/tips on finetuning spectral parameters for analyzing diffrent material
to get better results (for example: creating map using a field recording of various one hits, a map from a jazz drum record, a map from birds songs, a map from a piano sonata etc...)
LFOs (normal and various random) to attach to sliders
more audio fx (a random panner, wow&flutter, resonator, more complexe delays etc)

is this build compatible/compiled for M1/M2 Macs ?!
if not - what about a build for that ?!

Good news is that the majority of the features you listed are on the way, it's great to see we are thinking in the same direction. I hope at least some of them will be available in version 1.3 .

Could you please elaborate on "timestretch for grains" ?

FelixPetrescu is this build compatible/compiled for M1/M2 Macs ?!

We are releasing 1.2-beta2 this week and we are testing it on M1, everything seems to be fine except for a bug in the new slicer, we are working on it.

yay! great news🙂 I'll keep an eye for new betas.
( even if it would be great if you would have an email list notification of sorts for updates)
but I also keep an eye on your youtube so I'll detect movement ...

instead of only pitch shift (change pitch)
it would be great to have a timestretch also. (change time but not pitch- like warp in ableton live)
but I dont know how that will work on CPU and I guess it would tricky to implement.
( it should be done before playing the grains/units I guess...)

Timestretching audio clips looks tricky indeed, at least with our current audio engine.

We aren't anouncing betas at the moment, but it may be a good idea to do it through the forum.

it works ok on windows
if 1.2b1 worked ok here, v1.2 release doesnt !🙁

mmmh 1.2 crashing on OSx high sierra is really bad. any error message ?

classic error:
AudioStellar quit unexpectedly.

right clicking on the application will show a context menu with option "open package". you can then run AudioStellar from inside the package and a terminal window will also show up. it could have some information on why it is crashing.

the issue seems to be that binaries compiled on 10.15 are incompatible with 10.13

Hi @FelixPetrescu , AudioStellar wasn't working for newer versions of macOS so we needed to do some changes. It really sucks that those changes broke compatibility with older macOS versions and Juan is working on it but I don't know if there will be a plausible solution.

We will check this out but will probably result in releasing 1.2 for macOS 10.14 and up. I just hope there aren't lots of possible users using this version.

It seems there are in fact some users using that version. So we are about to release 2 versions for mac depending on your macOS version
